I have known Marykutty for 10 years, in my capacity as SAGE's supplier manager. Throughout all these years, Marykutty's list of SAGE titles she managed as a Senior Manager for Copy-editing grew from around 20 to over 100 in 2018. The growth was to a good extent due to Marykutty's leadership, expertise, eye for detail, and consistency. She is always responsive, proactive, and thinking forward, and we never had any serious quality or turnaround time issues.

In fact under her reign, Hurix grew to be one of our favourite suppliers. Whenever we assign new titles, we first look at the copy-editing quality. This makes Marykutty's contribution particularly valuable. There has been a cultural shift in perception, among publishers, when looking at copy-editing assignments to India, and it is to Marykutty's credit that she was part of those who shaped this perception, at SAGE.
